Janet Hiller is a self-taught fiber artist currently living and working in Eugene, Oregon, whose artwork appears regularly in regional, national, and international exhibits. Her work is based on simplicity of line, complexity of color, and richness of texture, with ideas reduced to their barest visual form.
Nearly all of her work is constructed exclusively of her hand dyed and painted fabrics, and feature significant manipulation of the cloth.
Hand quilting pulls together elements of line, form, and color, adding texture and flow, shadow and loft.
